Curiously, this same page says that sin comes from truth: sin (v.)), from PIE *hes-ont- "being, existence," thus "real, true" (from present participle of root *es- "to be"), also preserved in Latin sunt "they are" and German sind.

Re: merc retro, an EW prankster cranked the heat on Israel staring, ahem, 3 days ago. Their GPS has gone wonky, central Tel Aviv residents report it now shows them in Beirut. Maybe killing 7 celebrity chef workers wasn't such s good idea. I suspect Iran is saying, you want WW3 that bad? You got it!
I object to calling UKR a stalemate. Russia chose the front line & has demolished 3 armies there in 2 years. I expect Ukraine to collapse by the end of summer.
