Many people are using the sign of Jonah incorrectly in reference to this eclipse. The biblical account of Jonah and the sign of Jonah should be the primary basis for understanding this prophecy, not speculation about eclipses.
In the Gospel accounts, Jesus clearly states that the "sign of Jonah" refers to His own death and resurrection, not a future astronomical event
