Finding Peace in Celestial Chaos
April Astrological Archetype Finale: Rediscovering the True Eclipse Experience.
For this final instalment of our April Astrological Archetype series (I do have one final Eclipse Day surprise for you, fellow Diggers), we are going back to basics: what is the fundamental meaning of a Total Solar Eclipse, and where does its location in the visible sky guide us?
On one hand, yes, this is clearly not a “normal” Solar Eclipse — even leaving aside all the ritualistic Biblical bollocks that has now engulfed the Realm, the Astrology reveals this to us plainly: two powerful Outer Planet Conjunctions, an exact New Moon Conjunction with Chiron, all wrapped in the Prankster energy of an April Fools Mercury Retrograde.
But all of this only serves to reinforce the true Archetypal opportunity of April: the rediscovery of the unique Celestial experience of “When the Sun Goes Dark”.
Aside from the unavoidable cycles of the Sun, our society has little relationship or orientation to the carefully coordinated passage of the Skyclock Luminaries. That has suddenly all changed, at least for a hot Celestial moment, as a large proportion of the Realm has suddenly become fixated on the alignments in the Heavens on April 8.
As a result, even if “Nothing Happens”, we are still being collectively initiated into this Archetypal Eclipse Experience. In fact, we are there right now (particularly if you are in the vicinity of the North American Eclipse Path): stuck in an ambiguously-foreboding limbo of uncertainty (even down to the possibility that wholly natural and un-engineered cloud cover will prevent the most hyped Eclipse in living memory from actually being observed).
The challenge of staying Calm and Detached — even finding Peace — throughout this largely manufactured uncertainty is made clear by the position of the Eclipse in the heart of Sidereal Pisces: the Constellation we most associate with these spiritual qualities, not to mention our depleted collective resources of Compassion and Empathy.
As you can see above, the Eclipse will fall right on the “cord” that links the two Piscean Fish: which we might equate (with Archetypal flourish) to the universal connecting and life-giving force of water that every incarnated soul swims within.
Indeed, as I elaborated on in more detail at the conclusion of my original Astrology of April post, the Nakshatra for this section of Pisces — Revati — is essentially the Piscean at Peace: the Nourisher, the Guardian, the Guide and Wayshower. It really couldn’t be more clear what our Archetypal task is for this moment.
And that’s it: your April Astrological Archetypes completed, just in time for the big Celestial show (chem-trailed clouds pending).
See you tomorrow, for your Great Moonchild Eclipse special, fellow Diggers.
I am preparing for the wurst ;) and hoping for the blessed.
Sending you such big huggage so to last you til we "meet" again... xo xo xo
Good luck! And you're always on my Vibe List, too.
LOVE is all we need. (and some BBQ, maybe)
Cheers!
Many people are using the sign of Jonah incorrectly in reference to this eclipse. The biblical account of Jonah and the sign of Jonah should be the primary basis for understanding this prophecy, not speculation about eclipses.
In the Gospel accounts, Jesus clearly states that the "sign of Jonah" refers to His own death and resurrection, not a future astronomical event
