I’m one of those that thinks that everyone is capable of flirting with the divine, although we might require some different aids and crutches. So we meditate or take psychedelics or just have intense emotional experiences or NDEs...
I love going down these wombat holes. I’ve seen the channelers and I’ve had my own taste of the super natural and I’m fairly convinced our observable reality is limited, possibly intentionally.
Btw, can you have a wombat as a pet and if so, why don’t you?
Unfortunately, and rudely, wombats are only native to the SE of Australia and not in WA. They can be pets, particularly when younger and when they have been rescued and fostered in that environment, although usually they are released into their habitat when they are older and before their digging gets too destructive in a domestic setting. I “adopted” a wombat in primary school under the absolute belief that it involved me having my own wombie in the backyard, and was pretty miffed when informed it was only an ongoing financial contribution to a wombat refuge.
"There seems to be a process of subconscious self-selection that occurs with individuals who are contacted by negative entities..."
I disagree. Negative entities are attracted to light which they fear & therefore seek to destroy. The positive entities respond to the trauma to help you recover from the damage.
Sometimes, "light people" do induce karma kickback" just by their presence.
Unless your subscribe to the belief that we choose the circumstances of our birth into the material world.
"However, a more nuanced understanding might describe this process as akin to an ‘ego death..."
Early on in the beginnings of the internet age (mid-80s) I belonged to a forum at work (Digital equipment beta tested its software on its employees) called Arcana, dedicated to exploring the supernatural. Those of us who were experienced noticed that we all had weak, fragile ego structures due to childhood trauma.
I think more people have had "supernatural" experiences than are aware or willing to admit to. Their parents & society tend to talk them out of it. It becomes a taboo subject, then a taboo thought.
Since my teens I have had detailed precognitive visions, clairvoyance, angelic interactions, a terrifying crone appear one night, 1 out of body experience, an unexpected interaction with a group of shaman in a spirit canoe (the night *before* I read the chapter describing spirit canoes in
Harmon's "Way of the Shaman") & more.
Then, 6 months before 911, everything shut down. I contacted a friend who worked in the (vibration) energy field. She & her friends experienced the same. I have wondered since if the deep state learned to "jam" the frequencies.
Anyway, since the shut down, I have struggled mightily. It took years to re-tune & the voices have been infrequent & faint. A shock after decades in which they were continuous & I felt almost like I was always walking in meditation. I wondered at 1st if I had been schizophrenic all those years.
Then, one early February morning, sitting in the dark after a cup of coffee, I was sitting in bed pondering my day's chores, when a man appeared in the corner of my bedroom. It was too dark to see his features & couldn't tell if the folds of clothes were a heavy sweater or a robe. We were silent, but I felt the warmth of pure love pouring into my heart & I knew if he reached out his hand, I would follow him anywhere. I wasn't sure if he was Yeshua or the conductor I had once had a crush on.
A couple months later the radio in my garage, where my bunnies live started re-tuning itself to a contemporary Christian station.
So that is why I'm currently reading the new testament, this time an Orthodox study version to see where Satan twisted his words.
Also, yes. There are many, many paths. Yeshua/Jesus is a tough climb, but a safe & sure one.
I always greatly appreciate your contributions Mary. Looking back now at some of my theories that were written three years ago is a bit cringe, as I’m trying to find a degree of order and fairness to these supernatural experiences that, in practical reality, doesn’t seem to exist -- because in war, and this realm does seem to be a realm of spiritual warfare, rules and etiquette tends to get left behind.
I now wonder how much Jibby jabbing and other forms of heavy metal poisoning early in life might play a role: these inorganic substances once lodged in the body and/or brain act as receptors to supernatural entities.
I do think that in many instances, even if not for all or even most, there is some aspect of “self selection”, in that individuals who seek power and control are contacted by entities who offer that to them. Once in, they often take over the individual completely, which is my best working explanation for psychopathy.
And I now think you are correct in that far more than the 2% that Hancock suggests have had these experiences, just not in the more obvious and visceral ways as schizophrenia or DMT visions. I actually now understand my battle with Ménière’s Disease as a supernatural relationship with a parasitic entity, which was only released once I made the decision to become spiritually sovereign. Perhaps each and everyone of us is in constant interaction with the supernatural realm, but these interactions are revealed to most people in more subtle ways.
"I do think that in many instances, even if not for all or even most, there is some aspect of “self selection”, in that individuals who seek power and control are contacted by entities who offer that to them..."
Ok, that makes sense. I was thinking in the terms of them making bully-type attacks, trying to provoke retaliation, as opposed to luring people to the dark side. I still do also think they are attracted to light.
I read your posts on your battle with Menieres with particular interest. My father had Menieres & ended up totally deaf. I had only thought of it in terms of Louise Hay -- as a metaphor for spiritual illness. In his case, off balance & refusal to listen to anyone.
I did come to believe my mother was demon- possessed, & now that I rethink it, my father likely was too. A veritable match made in Hell!
Holy moly: quite the character building upbringing you had 🥵
I was most definitely out of balance during the peak of Ménière’s so that aspect of it definitely rings (tinnitus pun intended) true. It was a brutal experience but opened my eyes/third eye to a completely different understanding of reality. Ditto disability support work, which is where I have developed the theory of entity attachment through heavy metal poisoning based on the behavior of two young men I have supported.
There’s something about the negative beings jamming up the frequencies or our connection to the supernatural that resonates with me. Either outside toxins that mess with our pineal gland or closing off our third eye. Don’t know enough to articulate, but today is orthodox Easter and I had one of those super natural experiences on Easter about 30 years ago and my teenage self shrugged it off. I must have not been ready.
I think the Divine works in many ways, perhaps in order to be "acceptable" to the person or group that is being "targeted" for a wisdom zap, if you will. heh It's always so tempting to use words like "download" when talking about divine guidance, at least for me... lol Well, very enjoyable read, and I did also very much enjoy the wombat video. PDQ... Pretty darn cute little critters!
Wisdom zap! Love it Jaan. There are more than a few in the collective who could use some zapping (of the non tower variety) right now.
And yes: these encounters certainly seem to be targeted to the cultural-specific circumstances of individuals and groups (Christians seeing Jesus, Buddhists seeing Buddha etc.). Tricksy little things some these entities seem to be!
Adorable video! And Graham is interesting, I just listening to an interview Russell Brand did with him.
But I can see I've yet to convince you that the Bible is inside out and upside down. So let's look at angel as meaning messenger and the Lord as being Pharaoh--as would have been the common understanding.
Let's entertain the possibility that Abraham is Abdi-Ashirta the mercenary warlord depicted as a jackal in the stone tablets the vassal lords sent to the Pharaoh saying "Send archers! This jackal is poaching all your lands!" So Pharaoh sends his military attache, aka angel, to Abra-Ashirta because three towns of the Sea of Saddim were in revolt. Abdi says, no prob, my cousin Lot lives there in Sodom-Saddim and he can tell us who the ringleaders are.
Two of the Pharaoh's angels, aka spies, go to Sodom-Saddim and Lot hustles them into his house but not before they're spotted. The angry crowd gathers around his house ordering him to send the spies out. Instead he says, here, gang-rape my virgin daughters instead. And they say, WTF? What kind of amoral bastard are you? We don't want your daughters, we want to kill the spies.
With the help of the jackal, the vassal lords put down the rebellion but then Abdi turns around and says, no Sarah (the lands) isn't my sister, she's my wife-possession. And he takes the land from the vassal lords, making a deal with Pharaoh to deal with them as ruthlessly as needed to make sure it never happens again. And Lot rapes his daughters, to keep it all in the family.
That's certainly a logical "earthly" way to understand these stories. My baseline understanding of the Bible is that these tales operate at multiple levels: so it can at the same time be accurately describe the supernatural realm, because the same archetypes and hierarchies apply. Fractals etc.
Also bear in mind that most of this was written 3 years ago, so my perspectives have developed somewhat since. Nonetheless, the main takeaway I have from Heiser is that the Bible was indeed turned inside out and upside down, and that part of this inversion was to downplay the supernatural descriptions of the original authors and turn it into a materialistic document (aside from Yahweh).

Adolescent Isaac and his wombat. I would have watched that sitcom. What was the wombie’s name?
Wombie 😅
Lol.

The shutdown I had pre-911 happened all at once. I think it is the light v dark war going on.
I also think that is why I had the recent visitation, it was Feb 2019 at the start of the scamdemic.
Jesus is coming soon
You mean Feb 2020?
Oops, yes!
Again, a very intriguing post. ^_^

No supernatural buggering needed.

I’m very glad, thankyou
