Funny that, I always rejected religion as a faith but always loved it from a theatre perspective: the narratives, the rituals, the costumes! There’s a group that have invited me to their weekly meetings where they discuss the bible as a code book and they sit there and decipher it. I think you prompted me to finally take them up on their invite. Anyway, religion is wasted away on being a morality tale, imo. It serves better as a way to explain our origin story, just like science tries to do.
I love the architecture and the tranquility and no one ever asks if I belong. I’m too introverted to inquire more about the Baha’i faith although they say you can waltz in the office and just talk to somebody. I’d be curious to hear you say more about your experience.
Ahhh how lovely are the Houses of Worship, you are very lucky to live near one. Baha'i architecture is amazing, I got a chance to visit the World Centre in Haifa and the temples and gardens there are stunning.
Yes I don't think we should be outsourcing morality to any external institution, whether religion or Government or otherwise. Almost all my old Baha'i friends bought the Covid scam completely, basically I think because of the faith teaches almost unquestioning adherence to both. But some people do need that type of certainty, and it does seem to allow people to very dedicated and single minded towards changing the world, so i'm trying to be less judgemental about it.
I best understand the Bible best as encoded history and prophecy, so that group sounds fantastic!
Nice overshare. Thanks for the trailer park boys memories. That second clip was savage.
I think you have the trolling art just about nailed, hopefully you get a decent run before you trigger a snowflake and they report you again. I got booted from Medium for trolling, trying to walk the line a bit more this time, although I can see them censoring terrain theory content soon the way Kirsch is riling the faithful up.
Getting the popcorn... I was more or less where Isaac was 2 years ago and oh boy, what a wild, awesome and unbelievable ride it's been...
The Truth will set you free...

Great post!
And your reply to Bero made me laugh! His comment about Alex Jones made me mad
Thanks! Yes he seems to be relishing being back in his natural habitat, I might have to unfollow him otherwise my Stack might turn into Bero Bitching.
So in other words it’ll be like most other Stacks (seems to be a common theme on a lot of them) Even on (maybe especially on) his own.
😂

Btw, this is my go to place for when I need to get away: https://youtu.be/L3Up1XiHW0o

I will report what I find out from them. I know none of them got jabbed.
Interesting observation that we’ve been infantilised by religion and governments to tell us what is right or wrong.
Just looked at the Haifa World Center and... WOW!
Post the links and i'll have a look, i'm intrigued
Yes, although given it was the entire premise of the article, it didn't seem worth repeating
