The Martial Astrology Of The Next 6 Months

And the Venusian Future of Wholesome Astrology.

Greetings Fellow Diggers!

For celestial reasons that will soon be wholesomely elucidated, things are getting rather explosively polarised in the Realm (not just in the Divided States — it’s an absolute shit show Downunder as well, if that offers some solace) and I am popping my head out of the comfort of my subterranean abode to give you some necessary archetypal preparation for coming Times.

But further to that, once we get official business out of the way, I am happy to announce that this will also be one of Those Posts: when a Wombat gets slightly more existential and self-absorbed than usual and continues his conscious reorientation towards a decidedly un-geopoliticonspiratorial direction.

YES I KNOW this is not the first time I have tried such Conscious Conspiratorial Uncoupling. In fact, the last time I tried it, literally 3 days later the Chosen Tangerine had the outer layer of his peel clipped (ALLEGEDLY) and there was no choice but to dig back in to the burrow that eventually took shape as The Mystery of the Orange Moonchild.

So yes, call this a blatant act of tempting fate, but once we get this final extended dose of Wholesomely Foreboding Astrology out of the way, I don’t feel like I have much more to offer in that regard — whilst I do feel like I have a great deal to offer in other Celestial directions.

Before then, lets cut to the chase: the Astrology of the next 6 months is not for the faint-hearted. In fact, at the Collective level, it looks unmistakably brutal, and I am far from the only Stargazer to be saying so.

Ok: a quick digression via a quick word on that video, which is by far the most important Archetypal download I have received in my Celestial journey thus far.

It builds on the work of one of if not the most divisive figure in the online truther space — Jason Breshears of Archaix — taking the most widely shared of his many challenging and controversial theories and testing its validity within a mundane Astrological/Astrotheological framework.

If you are unaware of the Archaix drama (if so, well done) let me give you the cliff notes. Jason was a highly book smart if troubled (see: fundamentalist upbringing) young chap who happened to spend several decades binge reading old history books in a Texas prison. Upon release, he has slowly released his findings in a dauntingly comprehensive historical chronology of our Realm. Unfortunately, certain aspects (literally: you can see it all in his Natal Chart) of this fella’s past and personality have prevented many diggers from accessing his body of work. In fact, it has been quite a strange and somewhat disheartening process to watch truther after truther engage with yet ultimately dismiss his academically rigorous contributions due these unfortunate complicating factors.

And this is where a Wombat removes any unnecessary veneer of false humility and says exactly what needs to be said: I am the perfect marsupial to be acting as your Hermetic Psychopomp through the murky Archaix underworld.

Why?

Firstly, when you have an exact (and Tropical Anaretic) Mercury-Jupiter Square in your Natal Chart, you don’t particularly give a fuck about anything (particularly inflated egos) except the information, and I will categorically state that he has the best information that I have come across in the truthersphere. I have followed Jason for almost 2 years — from a few thousand subscribers to now over 150k — back before the channel became a fixture on the conspiratorial podcast scene (most of which would later categorically disown and distance themselves from him) and back before he developed one of the most loyal yet unmistakably (and unapologetically) cultish online communities.

What you get from me is the best of both worlds: an all meat and no bones distillation of the most urgent of truthersphere theories, completely free from any bias — whether towards sycophancy or aversion — and framed within a Wholesome Astro(theo)logical package.

Because, also throughout this time (and I assume this fact will be both unsurprising and amusing to fellow diggers) I have been personally banned/blocked from each of the Archaix Facebook group, Telegram channel and TwitterX account.

Why? You know why: a Wombat will be as a Wombat must be.

Ok, with that necessary if perhaps gratuitously provocative context established, let’s get down to business.

The main celestial characters that will define the energies of the next 6 months are the God of War and the Lord of the Underworld, who will be engaging in an extended oppositional stand off from November to April.

Mars-Pluto Opportunities: Active Transformation; Deep Wells of Willpower; The Drive to Survive.

Mars-Pluto Challenges: Intense Unearthed Rage; Fighting for Survival; Battle to the Death.

A Mars-Pluto Aspect is usually a relatively fleeting celestial occurrence, Intensely Active for perhaps a week, however not this time: after the first pass in a week or so, Mars goes into Retrograde at the start of December — making a second Opposition in early January, before turning direct in the early months of 2025 and returning for a perhaps ill-advised Round 3.

Apocalypse-enabling Assholes, both of them.

There are various factors that make this Archetypal “Life or Death” combination especially fated towards collective mortal combat.

The first is the somewhat volatile positioning of the two planets (YES PLUTO IS A PLANET, COME AT ME ASTRONOMY BROS) for their first oppositional showdown. Sidereally, Mars will be stuck right in the void between the Twins and the Crab, and Pluto likewise between the Archer and the Goat. Tropically, it is even spicier, with Mars at Anaretic Cancer and Pluto at Anaretic Capricorn.

Honestly, the 3rd of November is an absolutely extraordinary piece of Celestial Geometry: a Conjunct Moon-Mercury will “Wedge” the Opposition with a Trine/Sextile, while on the other side we have the now infamous Outer Planet “Basket” — a Minor Grand Trine of free-flowing Revolutionary (Uranus) and Mystical (Neptune) energy that Mars will tap into across each of its 3 Oppositions.

Hiding in there also is a (hopefully) Stabilising Trine between the two Figures of Authority: Sol and Saturn. And then, in an archetypal flourish that I am honestly not sure how to interpret, we have a second exact Opposition between the two Benefics, Venus and Jupiter.

In theory, this should “help” and be “good”: I mean, look at that blue, right? RIGHT?

And yes, it most certainly can be, for us: this is an amazingly and uniquely potent moment for each of us celestially-minded and consciously-prepared diggers to Instigate (Mars) a Transformational (Pluto) leap forward that we will never be required to look back from.

But in the Collective… I’m not so sure.

The lowest manifestation of this dicey combo is the Unearthing of Hidden (Pluto) Anger and Resentment (Mars). Uranus (Conjunct the unfairly Demonised Fixed Star Algol) allows for events to move Suddenly and Irreversibly, while Neptune (still stuck in the Pisces Endgame) brings a Martyr’s vibe that really cannot be ignored in our current social climate.

What about the specific dynamic of an Opposition? Well, we can imagine this manifesting as an Intense Power (Pluto) struggle between opposing Forces of Will (Mars). I mean… you can quite literally see the situation that will be playing out over the next 6 months: not just in the States, but more broadly in the Collective.

And then we have the unmistakably foreboding timing of this initial flashpoint: going exact in the 48 hour period leading up to the US sElection on November 5.

Really guys?

It gets even better (?)!

12 days later, with the show down still very much active, we have a Full Moon with the Sun now in both Tropical and Sidereal Scorpio. It happens to be on the day that the Greater Malefic Saturn awakens from its Retrograde slumber — with that troll Luna also Conjunct to a Degree Uranus.

Where is Uranus, fellow diggers? That’s right: retrograding back over the Star that is symbolically depicted (again, unfairly: I got you Algol natives) as the decapitated Head of Medusa, which itself is plonked right on the Midheaven of the Moonchild (among other notable positions in the charts of other notable people).

And then our second showdown: which just so happens to occur in another crucial lead-up period to the next key sElection date: January 6th aka “Insurrection” Day aka the day when your fake-ass congress meets to nominally tick off the predetermined winner of the loosh-harvesting ritual.

As well as an emotionally unstable Luna now Squaring the aforementioned Prometheus, Round 2 also overlaps with the first critical point of our current 20 year Jupiter-Saturn cycle, with the two Planets that set our social parameters testing each other within 2 degrees of a Square.

As also aforementioned, Mars still has to station direct for its final showdown in April. For one final insult to whatever injuries have thus far been accumulated, this third and final opposition (now firmly embedded across Sidereal Cancer/Capricorn and Tropical Leo/Aquarius axis) will actually be a T-Square with the Sun. If we take Tropical as the best indicator for the vibe of the Collective, the Sun will be in Taurus forming a Fixed T-Square: suggesting that whatever things look like geopolitically by this point we are going to be stuck with for a while.

OK ENOUGH.

How can we get a grip on this Apocalypse-enabling dynamic for us personally?

My best advice, and how I will be preparing, is to be aware of the intense tug of war energy that will be permeating the Realm and to not get sucked in. Presumably — As Above So Below, As Within So Without etc — this tug of war will also be manifesting much closer to home. Can we witness this struggle between (seeming) opposing forces of will inside our communities, our homes, even inside our own mind and body — and can we put our attention toward how these polarities can be brought into a more Venusian sense of balance and harmony?

And, on that note, that’s more than enough of Mars (and Pluto): let’s stick with Venus, because at this very moment — if we can see through all that impending Celestial Chaos — we find her doing something very significant in the sky.

Yep that’s her, currently locked in a momentary Square with her female counterpoint Luna — but, more importantly, with Saturn completing the right-angled triangle.

The Lesser Benefic to the Lesser Malefic of Mars — the Feminine Princess to his Masculine Asshole Prince — Venus represents the things which fundamentally feel good: our core Values and Desires, our Senses and our sense of Beauty, the pursuit of Peace and Harmony, and of course Relationships and Love.

AND MONEY, BITCHES.

The Greater Malefic, Saturn always represents a test — where we are called upon to accept Restrictions and exercise Discipline — and with a Square it might feel like that test is a tad harsher than it needs to be. So, if it feels like, over this weekend, you have suddenly entered an examination concerning your core values, your relationships, your capacity to be in balance and harmony, your capacity simply to love (others yes, but also yourself) then you have full permission to blame the Skyclock.

We have a largely negative view of undertaking a test — which is fair enough, because the way society implements them is typically unbalanced, unreasonable and unfair. The literal example is an exam, where the brutal and manufactured setting for the test often means that whether you pass or fail has little to do with your actual knowledge of what you are being tested on (I may be biased, as someone who won the Year 11 and 12 History prize, but then choked and flunked the entrance exam).

Saturn is not like that: when we are tested by Saturn, it still feels ruthless, but it is ruthlessly fair and indiscriminatory. It is the ultimate reality check, and we will know exactly where we stand by the end: for better or worse. But it’s highest manifestation, as myself and many others have said before, is to lead us down the archetypal path towards ultimate Mastery.

And indeed, it is revealing to look back at each of the key Martian moments outlined above, to see the parallel Venusian story:

• In an exact Polarity with its Benefic partner Jupiter at the first Opposition, fresh off that T-Square;

• At the very first Degree of Tropical Pisces at the second Opposition, the Sign in which it is Exalted;

• And, at the third Opposition, completing its cycle of Mastery with a Conjunction with Saturn, still in Pisces but also now both Conjunct the Head of the Celestial Dragon Rahu.

We may very likely find the qualities of Venus somewhat lacking in the collective over the following months. In this sense, it actually makes our overarching Archetypal challenge across this period quite glaringly obvious: the Mastery of all that is Venus.

Do you really need things to be made clearer for you? I certainly dont’, and that is why I plan for the future of this humble Stack to be unashamedly Venusian from this point onwards.

I’m not entirely sure what that means yet — although I certainly have a few spicy celebrity-leaning things in mind — and for that reason (as well as my own Peace of mind and commitment to this reorientation) it feels best to cancel all paid subscriptions.
